Building Your Own Faith

King Joash of Judah was faithful to God so long as his godly uncle Jehoiada lived, but after his uncle's death, Joash fell away from the Lord. Joash is just one of too many individuals in the Scriptures who never developed his own faith. How can we develop our own faith so that we do not fall prey to a similar shipwreck of faith?
