In light of popular narratives, it seems as if any man can only be one of two polar opposites: either a vulgar brute who uses and abuses women or a feckless milquetoast dominated by a woman. It is possible, indeed critical, for a man to be both strong and sensetive, decisive and considerate, steel and velvet, that is, the very kind of man that God calls all men to be.
