Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

We read passages such as II Timothy 2:15, and we all think, "Yes, that's kind of person I want to be: Rightly dividing (or handling) the word of truth!" But do we really immerse ourselves in that word? Are we really doing what it takes to be able to handle that word of truth as Paul instructed?
