But You Be Sober

In Paul's epistles, he wrote that we should not heed fables or be tossed about by every wind of doctrine. That requires us not only to know the Scriptures, but to have a healthy skepticism of the theories and musings we run across, whether found in social media or pulpit. Falling prey to false doctrine and silliness puts our souls in jeopardy and furthermore hinders our ability to persuade others to believe the true gospel.
