God describes his nature and character in a variety of ways in Scripture. One phrase that he uses frequently is “the God of ___.” These short phrases identify how God relates to others, what he is like, and what he does for his people. This study examines the key passages in the New Testament that use the phrase “the God of” to show us who God is and what he does (or wants to do) for people.
