Defending the True Grace of God: How Are Sinners Forgiven?

The “imputed righteousness of Christ” is a phrase that may sound familiar as it frequently gets bandied about in religious circles, but what does it mean? That is, what do those who use the phrase mean when they use it, and does Scripture support that concept? In a word, no. Furthermore, while its proponents argue that the idea magnifies the grace of God, it actually undermines both God's grace and the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Christ.
