Moses and Matthew (Part 1)

The book of Matthew is written with a particular audience in mind. And while its message is for all who would read it, it is crafted to reach that original audience. Matthew draws heavily from the books of Moses in telling Israel about Jesus. Seeing that helps us see more of what Matthew is telling us about our Lord. In this lesson, we will consider the connections at the beginning of Matthew's gospel and the book of Genesis.
