The Authority of the King

Kings feel like something so far distant in our past that they almost become like characters in fairytales. Indeed, they are usually wicked characters in those tales. But monarchy has been the standard government of most of history and it is the type of government used to describe the authority of Christ. But he does not just become another in a long line of kings. He is King of all the kings.
