In the centuries just before the time of Christ, the Jews translated their Scriptures from Hebrew into Greek. This translation is called the Septuagint, and it became the translation of choice for the early Christians. It is even quoted in the New Testament. What should Christians today make of the Septuagint? This study investigates what the Septuagint is and why it matters.
